About Us
The History and Makeup of the Lakota Waldorf School
We are a Native American 501 (c) (3) charitable nonprofit organization, legal name: Wolakota Waldorf Society on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, in South Dakota, USA. The Current programs operated under the Wolakota Waldorf Society are: The Lakota Waldorf School and the Lakota Tipi Camp.
The School board consists of parents, grandparents, and community members. This will be to the further benefit of the children/students for they will continue to be always our first concern. We welcome parents, community members to participate and share crafts, skills, stories, or songs with the students. This school is for the community and all members in the community should feel free to visit and participate in the school.
